Our spine and each spinal segment are designed to move. If they don't, it can cause local pain, muscle spasm or subtle, often nonspecific problems elsewhere in the body.

I practice the classic hands-on manual adjustment techniques, or for those who are not fond of the "cracking" noises, I use the IQ Impulse adjusting instrument. This state of the art, microprocessor controlled instrument delivers gentle taps, while simultaneously checking for increased movement of spinal segments. Once maximal mobility is achieved, it stops firing. These impulses not only mobilize the spine but doing so, they also reset the incorrect neural feedback, which was causing muscle spasm and pain. A client can fully relax. There are no “cracking” noises or unpleasant twisting. It is especially useful for acute stages of back pain where almost any movement is too painful.

Mobile Remedial Massage

Most people know how beneficial a good Remedial Massage can be. When massage is a part of Chiropractic Treatment, more specific techniques are used. Techniques such as Trigger point therapy or Myofascial release can be invaluable for pain management and recovery. Pain is often greatly reduced or is completely resolved just by using these muscle techniques alone.

I believe that to stay fit, healthy and pain-free, one has to adopt a habit of regular exercise. Research also supports this view. Any exercise is beneficial, but exercise with weights is the most effective, as it can be fitted to your specific needs and completed in less than 40 min.
